Description
Well here, at long last, is the finished version of: [link]
A fully shaded commission for I can't begin to explain how happy I am with how this turned out. I worked really hard on it and, for future reference, this kind of shading will cost $30-$40. This is a far cry from [link] and [link] therefore there is a gradual price difference, and not just due to quality but also because of how long it takes and how tedious it is.
Now let me say a few things I'm really proud of:
- The perspective: I think I nailed it!
- Her hair: I think I managed to make it look really realistic.
- Muscles: I managed to include the definition of muscles without making her look rediculously buff.
- The shading overall: I got my darks dark and my lights light for once!
- The wings: I think I did a great job making them "billow" as if with wind, and I made some realistic looking wrinkles in the membrane.
As if you can't all guess, I really DON'T want critiques on this. I poured a good bit of myself into producing this and I can't stand someone pointing out a "fatal" flaw or even something awkward.
Having said all that, I really think this is my greatest Graphite piece to date!
Materials used: 4H-4B graphite pencils, a kneaded eraser, a magic eraser, and a blending stump.
* I did edit the contrast in Photoshop and I cleaned up what I call "scanner spots" (little dark debris that show up on the scan)

Thanks so much for giving me this wonderful opportunity
